Blenheim Palace Opening Times & Admission Prices 2008

Blenheim Palace and Formal Gardens open until 14th December 2008. The Palace and Formal Gardens are open daily until 2nd November, and from 5th November to 14th December the Palace and Formal Gardens are closed and Mondays and Tuesdays. The Park is open all year round except Christmas Day.

 

The Private Apartment Tours are open periodically, please check prior to your visit. A small extra charge applies. The Pleasure Gardens are open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm (last admission 4.45pm). The Garden Cafe opens from 10.30am - 5.30pm. The Pleasure Gardens Gift Shop is open during school holiday times. The Butterfly House is open daily until October 31st.

Admission

All ‘Palace, Park & Gardens’ tickets include admission to Blenheim Palace, the new visitor experience 'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story' and entertainment except when separate admission prices are recommended. ‘Park and Gardens’ tickets do not include Palace entry.

Both tickets include access to two thousand acres of stunning parkland, the formal Gardens, free train rides on the miniature train to the Pleasure Gardens and all attractions at the Pleasure Gardens including the Marlborough Maze, Adventure Play Area, the Butterfly House (closed from end of October) the lavender garden, and the "Blenheim Bygones" exhibition. Tickets will also include entrance to the popular ‘Churchills’ Destiny’ - The story of two great war leaders’ exhibition.

Blenheim Palace is in Woodstock, 8 miles from Oxford on the A44 Evesham Road. It is easily accessible by car, coach and train. Blenheim is 12 miles from junction 9 of the M40 and is signposted from the motorway.
